Many agencies are requiring Demo Reels in their submission requests as they consider signing an actor. At Stipe we aim to create a very individualized package of tools to share with the industry. We call this package REEL Time; it includes a video of edited footage that highlights the actor in scenes that are very specific to their strengths and type. One can also include headshots and a resume consultation as part of the REEL Time sessions, depending on the need of the actor. These tools are meant for the actor and/or parent to utilize for agency submissions, as well as online actor auditions. If we feel an actor has real potential we often personally share an actor’s REEL with the top agents here in Atlanta. Many of our students have signed exclusively with talent agents here in the southeast and are auditioning and booking professional projects. REEL Time is a focused and effective way for an actor to not only hone their on-camera skills, but also equip themselves to take their dreams and goals to the next level.
